Our Clients Say It Best

Kathleen was incredible to work with! I initially hired her just to help me select exterior paint colors but she went above and beyond, helping me completely reimagine the outside of my house. Her amazing attention to detail and design insights transformed my home, giving it a whole new level of curb appeal. I'm thrilled with the results and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer who truly cares.

Kathleen supported us and worked with us through a major renovation in our home over the course of a year - with upfront planning support as well as during project/onsite support. We are so in love with how everything turned out! It is a game changer for our family with a renewed function in our home!

We hired Kathleen to help us make key design decisions in our new-build townhouse. We’re thrilled with all of her design and décor recommendations, and found her guidance immensely helpful! She has terrific insights regarding trends and is respectful of personal preferences. We enjoyed the process and will definitely contact her again. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with Kathleen's overall performance. She spent several consultation sessions with us then presented design options. She pursued material options to fit our budget, provided spreadsheets for project phases including contractor payments along with frequent site visits. I was impressed with Kathleen's attention to detail. A talented designer with extensive experience in turnkey projects.

Kathleen’s design advice was instrumental in creating a bright modern kitchen with open concept family and dining room. She is very knowledgeable and easily worked with hard surfaces, right into furniture, drapery and décor, always keeping in mind our design requirements. We love the final space; Kathleen truly helped us achieve a space that reflects us. Thank you Kathleen

We renovated our entire house and could not have done it without Kathleen. She saved us so much time and money by taking the time to understand our style up front and presenting us with options that suited our taste. She goes above and beyond to ensure you get exactly what you want. We are very happy with how the process went and the end result. We highly recommend Kathleen.”

It was a pleasure working with Kathleen on my new kitchen / sunroom. I was struggling with choices for the floor, the backsplash, the furniture, the colours, and she was amazing! WOW! is the reaction of family when they first see the room, with all details perfect right down to the footstools and bird pillows. Most important to me was that Kathleen really listened to me. I could never have done it without her expertise.

Merit Insurance hired Kathleen Steele Design to work with us in designing and creating a sustainable office environment for the long term. She managed our time and our expectations throughout the entire project. Clients are impressed and feel comfortable that they are dealing with professionals when they walk into our business, the first impression is awe inspiring design! It was an exciting, hassle free new kitchen project from beginning to end. Kathleen takes charge, in search for trades people that she knows do great work and are proud of the work they do. Cabinetry, fixtures, tiles all was searched with care that added to the over all look of the kitchen. Definitely will be using Kathleen Steele Design for my next project without hesitation. From design, budget to project management, Kathleen was there at every step. She was easy to work with, very patient and flexible when it came to assisting us with the multitude of decisions that had to be made. We could not be more pleased with the results. Thank you so very much Kathleen

Love Kathleen! Very professional and very knowledgeable, great eye for color and coordinating design. I didn't know where to start and wanted to update several rooms. She worked closely with me and made great suggestions and selections within my budget and design tastes.

Kathleen has a natural ability to not just listen to the client, but to be able to truly hear what the client is saying/feeling in terms of needs versus wants. Kathleen made amazing recommendations for all my wall colors, carpet choices, light fixtures, cabinetry, hardware, plumbing, window treatments, furniture, and accents. Kathleen worked extremely well with my architect, construction supervisor and all the sub-trades.
