How to Choose the Right Interior Designer for Your Project. The choice of which interior designer to work with is a very personal one.

A designer’s role is to meet in your space, ask lots of questions about your daily routines, your needs and wants, and how you want to use the space. The best designers get to know you pretty intimately and listen very carefully to do an exceptional job.

That’s why I like to let my clients know a little about myself and my own values. It helps us get to know one another a little better, for one. But also, when my clients understand my commitment, they get a glimpse into what they can expect from our working relationship.

I am committed to designing one-of-a kind projects unique to each client.

My design approach is always the same but I recognize that every project is a one-off just like my perspective client.  Through my design experience I ask specific questions, to deliver the “right” answer for each project.  

Through collaborative communication a project takes shape, sometimes mixing high and low products to maximize the design investment. And to reflect the client’s true style, treasured pieces are also often in the final mix.

My focus is always the client – nothing is off the table when designing one-of-a-kind projects.  It has to come together just right, it is a journey together.

I am committed to expanding my insights.

There are many aspects that make interior design so appealing and exciting to me, especially the ever-expanding possibilities. There’s always more to explore and learn. No matter how experienced I am, I don’t consider myself to ever be totally finished.

In an industry where a lot of the appeal comes from creating something fresh and imaginative, I know that I can never get complacent with my design.  The best designs come from those who are always willing to approach a space from a completely new angle.

Living my best life for me means operating my own design business so that I control not just the schedule but the vision of the work I do. Being creative is what makes me feel alive, and keeps me moving forward each day.

Interior design projects take a lot of time and energy for those with already busy lives. That’s why I strive to create a full-service experience for my clients. I don’t want them to have to stop and worry as their space is designed. I want them to feel completely taken care of so they can
continue their lives and then return to their newly redesigned spaces feeling even more energized.  With them saying, “it’s better than I ever imagined”.
